The Sandbox is a blockchain-enabled metaverse, created of parcels of land in the gameworld. Each parcel of LAND is a blockchain object (ERC-721 on the Polygon blockchain), and can be considered a form of virtual real estate.
The smallest parcel of LAND that can be divided is 1 LAND. If 9 LANDs are combined in a grid of 3x3 LANDs, this is called a small estate, and is a contiguous playable space in The Sandbox.
